On the 3rd August 2007 MINDistortion turns 5, so it's time to celebrate this anniversary with a little art contest! :)
Prizes
- 1st Place: $150 + T-Shirt
- 2nd Place - 5th Place: T-Shirt
The t-shirt can be any t-shirt of your choice from the MINDistortion store
How to submit
Entries can be submitted either via mail to mindistortion@gmail.com or the MINDistortion showcase submission form. Please make sure to add a note that it’s a contest entry.
Contest Rules & Guidelines
- Entries must be submitted by the 26th July 2007
- Judgement will take place from the 27th July until the winner announcement on the 3rd August. Winners will be determined by members of the MINDistortion community.
- Entries may be any kind of Artwork, Drawing, Animation, Game, Interactive Application, etc. that can be presented online.
- Entries must be your own work (duh), by submitting an entry you assure not to hurt the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Entries must be related to MINDistortion.tv’s homemade content, e.g. Usage of one of MINDistortion’s characters, parody/spoof of one of my movies or making an animation with one of the creatures in the artwork section.
- Multiple entries are allowed. Just give it a try! :)
- Animations and Games should contain a link to MINDistortion.tv as to give credit for the original characters. MINDistortion.tv watermarks on drawings and pictures are optional, but not required.
- MINDistortion gets the non-exclusive right to display, distribute and store your work.
- All rights on the entries remain to the contestants, the rights on the characters remain to MINDistortion.
- Payments will be made via Paypal, contestants within the EU may optionally receive their prize money via bank transfer.
This contest is non-commercial and only for fun. Contestants have to be 13 or older, or require the permission of their parents or guardian to participate. The judgment of the community based jury is indisputable. MINDistortion is not obliged to display all submissions. In case of a problem with the t-shirts, MINDistortion may alternatively give away a prize of equal or greater value. Putting tiny text at the bottom of a page makes some people paranoid. Yes, I mean YOU.
